    music file question

I deleted over 100 songs off my phone..but once I deleted them..my memory didn't go up or nuthing...and I had my music seperated in a specific folder (seperate hip hop from my Spanish n other music) but now the folder doesn't delete..it has no music in there cuz it was deleted but the folder won't go away...

Anyone know why that folder won't delete?

And why my memory doesn't go up after 100 plus songs being deleted?

Ekzt1nr, are you using a Media Card?
If so, make sure mass storage mode is set to prompt, with your bb keyboard unlocked, plug it into your PC, enable mass storage mode and delete it that way.....if that don't work, do a battery pull and re-try

^right...you should be going into options>advanced options>media card.
and looking at the bottom. it'll say how much total space the media card has. and how much available space is left right under it.

Not sure if this is different on a Pearl, but on my Curve that code gives me my memory free in the phone and not the memory card.

    lol

I would ignore DM and use Windows Native file explorer to delete the folder. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a hidden file in your folder. Especially if you have ever had it connected during a virus scan. I have found hidden files in some of my folders placed there by my scanners (virus/adware/spyware). I haven't looked on my BB to see if there are some there but I wouldn't be surprised.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~alright bro, this is what I would do, plug you bb up to your PC and enable mass storage mode. Then access your SD card by going to My Computer and clicking on which ever removable drive/usb port you have your bb plugged into (ex. Removable K: or so), then navigate to you bb's music folder, find the folder and delete it. If you still can't, right click and view the properties, make sure its not hidden

when you go to that folder are you just opening it or are you exploring it because sometimes stuff is hidden so you have to select explore to see it

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~I had this exact same issue once, and doing it this way allowed me to delete it with ease. I found using Roxio for managing my media a useless tool, its a bit too confusing (imo), copy pasting using mass storage mode is much easier
