    i have some 7 months old blackberry pearl and my Volume increase key is not working ie + key. pls suggest me what to do. i am using this set here in Nepal.

    Welcome to PinStack shshir.

    First Try a Cold Reboot (Battery Out, wait 15-30 sec, Battery Back in). If that doesn't work you should try reinstalling the HandHeld Software Package on it. If that fails, then I suggest a warranty exchange if that is an option.

    Thanks rcbjr , i will try reinstalling handheld software. lets see what happens. and now i have another problem. i tried to use the gprs service and it says "data connection failed". what should i do? i am using this set in Nepal and what should i do to have a gprs connection? may i have procedure to activate this facility?

    From time to time I've had keys stop working, or become insensitive. Sometimes a reset or software reinstall solves the problem; other times though it is just that moisture or dirt got under the key, and after a day or two it dries up or withers away and the key works again.

    For example if you get the keyboard wet, pressing a key can result in a bunch of characters showing up, even a whole row
