Issues with putting a movie on my Curve....

Ok, I have a movie on my PC that I have tried to put on my 8310. I have tried to convert it via DM, Blackberry Video, and Super C. Once I got on my Curve via DM, it would not play because it said it was unsupported format. So I tried Blackberry Video, I could not get it to work right. So I tried Super C but about 95% into it, I got an error. I have tried twice with Super C.

Any suggestions? The file is an AVI but no matter what I do, it will not play on the curve.

It is the only movie I have tried. I have put an epsiode of Heroes on here that I got off videoes4blackberry. It worked fine. This is the first movie I have tried.

When using the BB Video program did you rename the file whateveryourtitle.avi
I found that if you don't put the avi file extension it will give you that error. Simple mistake but it will get you watching that movie. Hope that helps..don't know if you knew that or not..good luck

Um, no I didn't know that. I am still learning the BB ins and outs as I have had it for just 2 weeks.

Do you realize that the software bundled with your phone transfers movies seamlessly, without the need to use third party software?? The roxio media manager that is part of the software will automatically convert your movies before plaing them on the blackberry. The movies come out great.

Yes, I know it will but for some reason it did not convert it right. I tried that first. I finally got the Blackberry video to work.
