    Installing ringtone *not* OTA?

How can I install a ringtone without it being OTA? As in through the USB cord, Bluetooth, etc. I have the newest version of OS and a Red Blackberry Pearl. I have done it before, but I seem to have forgotten. TIA.

Could you be a little bit more specific? Thanks.

Also, will this require a MicroSD card?

I know that any music on your sd can be used as a ringtone. as far as i know you need a 3rd party app to download ringtones to BB with PC.

here is details of one ($) I am sure there must be a freebie somewhere.

I was looking through the "Comprehensive Guide", and it showed that I could either transfer my .mp3 files through the BB manager to the device or the MicroSD card. Not sure if I was reading that correctly, though.
