Sounds like a burn rate problem. I have it on my 8830 and it runs smooth.I used dvd shrink and then converted using the BB media program(don't recall the name) that has been listed in the forums. Good luck and.enjoy.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~DVD shrink you get off of afterdawn.com if its still there and you concert the videos for your blackberry using blackberry video converter of download.com but the only problem when converting the videos is they need to be full quality or they get choppy I did a few videos before.

Why not use Blackberry video? It's free and is written to convert videos specifically for Blackberries.

if it's already an AVI file you can still convert to AVI again using the Blackberry Video converter, this way you will have the right bb settings

When you say DVD Quality... my guess is the file is too large for the BB to handle all at once, just as when you are on a slower connection and try to go to youtube it will play part, then wasoftit for the stream to catch up to it then play some more etc.

My suggestion would be to downgrade the quality... there is no reason to have DVD Quality resolution (typically 1920x1080) when the device will display much less (320x240 if its a curve, less if its a pearl). This likewise leads to a much larger file than is necessary... I have a bunch of movies on my Curve all of which play and look great.

I use a program called CloneDVD Mobile from Slysoft which I think is great but there are many others out there that get the job done.

I have much larger movies (just b/c of the length they are) on my phone and they work flawlessly... For Example I have "there will be blood" which is only 311MB in size.

Hope this helps... If not let me know

Thats exactly why I asked why not use Balckberry Video. I've converted .avi files using the program and its worked every time.
