    Custom tone wont save

When i got to a contact, and press "edit" and "add custom tone"

i select the tone from my device memory (not on a card) it says

"Address updated externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed."

I tried deleting the whole contact then adding it back and didnt change anything
Downloaded a new ringtone to my device memory, didnt change anything
Tried a new ringtone i already had saved, didnt change anything

    any ideas? thanks

    Re: Custom tone wont save

Are you getting that message everytime you try and save a new tone? Did you try creating a new exception? If not try this, go to profiles, advanced options (@ bottom), hit menu button, select new exception, add the persons name from your address book and select a tone from your media. click menu then select save. If this doesn't work there might be a possibility your mp3 files are corrupt?
