    Smile Verizon 7250 Handheld Update

I wanted to pass this along to others but Verizon is rolling out there EVDO service to the Blackberry 7250 and 7130. It requires calling Verizon and getting setup with Broadband Connect service as well as upgrading your handheld to the 4.0.2 code. Click on the link below and you will be directed to a site with detailed instructions on what to do. I completed the steps yesterday and I can now use my 7250 as a Air Card. The speed are pretty nice off my Blackberry.

Very nice! I wonder if Nextel/Sprint will be doing something similar.

That's awesome! What was the upcharge for the service?

When is t-mobile going to open up something other than their darn HotPsots? LAME!

The article isn't there any more (just the title). Do you still have the instructions?
