    Searchable Data File? - 7290

Great Site. I usually find the answer I need just searching through the threads.

What I would like to do now is to create a searchable file on the BB. I keep some small amounts of info in Memos. I would like to have a large data file that I can search for strin and have it take me to that point in the file. I want to use it for a quick reference for pricing for many products.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks.

    It's a 7290.

I can search the emails and contacts, but it won't let me search the memos or tasks.

    On mine I have...
    Messages
    Calender
    Address Book
    Memo Pad
    Tasks

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

If you made a single memopad file with all the information contained within, you would be able to search for a text string after opening that memo.

    tnthorne, Welcome to PinStack.

    1. Create a Note in Outlook or other compatible PIM Note app with the data you want in it.
    2. Sync that note with your BB using the DeskTop Manager
    3. Open the Memo Pad App on your BB
    4. Open the memo you just create as View
    5. Open the Menu
    6. Select Find
    7. Type the search keyword(s) and press return
    8. If it doesn't find the correct entry, Open the menu and Select Find Next.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

    Hope this helps
    Rcbjr.

Your right! WOrks like a charm. For some reason, I couldn't get it to work before.

    Thanks once again!
