Hi E140, are you trying to connect via bluetooth to use this as a modem, or just use it as a modem with a cable?
I have been a Nextel customer for years. I am now a new BB user and I love it. However, I need to be able to use my 7520 as a modem for another bluetooth enabled device with so that I can have internet access on jobsites that do not have an available wifi connection. I spoke with Nextel and they told me that the network does not support such a thing, but....that she had seen the topic discussed on different online forums and that it is possible...Anyone know how?
Im not sure about your model handset, but most cannot use bluetooth for this feature, has to be wired.

I am trying to connect via bluetooth, and both of my devices are finding each other but no internet connection can be established.
If it makes a difference the tech at Nextel said that it can be done on the Sprint network, but not the Nextel network.
If you need to use the 7520 as a modem check out shark modem. It works ok but is a little slow.Better than nothing though.
Or you can switch to Sprint, as I did last Friday, and get the EVDO enabled 8703e. I cant begin to explain how easy it was to set it up as a modem, and the EVDO speeds are unbelievable.
