My BB is giving me a Prefetch Exception Reset message.
Removing the battery will not restart the device. I get the same error message.
Is there another way to wipe the device so I can reload the OS?
Nextel Blackberry support is going to make me wait until Monday to help me.

    Re: Hard reset for 7510

Have you tried to remove the battery and hold the power button down for 30 seconds? Sometimes if I just remove the battery it doesnt do anything, holding the power button down helps alot.

There are many options to wiping the BB and restoring the OS. Try the battery pull again, and if not then we will move forward.

Before you replace it wipe the device using Java loader or JLcmdr, then reload the OS and you should be fine. Worked for a customer of mine before.
