~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ go to phone log, push track wheel, go to options, push to talk, set phone only to yes.

    Re: direct connect

I used to have a 7100i. I think if you goto options from within the call log, there is a way to do this. I never used DC much, so my memory of this isnt so great.
There are some Nextel guys here who should be able to help if this doesnt.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~do you mean forever or for a couple of minutes? On a BlackBerry or other Nextel? If you have a regular Nextel you can go to profiles and choose filter and turn DC to on. Let me know if you need further help.

    Re: direct connect

It depends, you can call Nextel and have them restrict the phone part. Its called a SOC (sounds like sock) code, and its "NOIO". Ask them to put that on your account and you'll sound like a dealer, or just ask them to restrict your incoming and outgoing calls. If you want I can do that for you, I have customer service access. But understand, you will be giving out your account number, so if your are weiry, please call customer care.

    Re: direct connect

Here is another idea, go to profiles, go to phone, go to edit, then choose do not disturb. It will send all calls to voicemail! As for being able to make calls I need to figure that one out.

    Re: direct connect

lol. thats a good idea, but no one has this number, so i dont fear people calling me.
i really want it so people cant call out. i allow them to use i to make DC calls, then some of them have the audacity to abuse my trust and call people.
