    Thumbs down Damaged 7230 Screen

Yesterday my 7230 screen all of a sudden had a giant blotch and tie-dye lines all through it. I don't remember dropping it or falling or anything. How difficult is it to replace the screen, and is that the only problem? It does still receive calls and make them, I just can't see the screen. Anybody out there have an old one they would part with?

    Re: Damaged 7230 Screen

Bbrepairshop has the replacement screen for your BB for $59.99 here is the link: http://bbrepairshop.com/replacementscreens.html

I had the 7290 taking apart the BB is not complicated at all. I believe might have info on taking it apart here at pinstack. Let me take a look.

Here is a link for dissembling BB here on Pinstack. Hope it's helpful!

I guess "simple" is of course a relative term, but a guy in my office replaced his screen and it appeared to be simple, LOL. It wouldn't be simple for me of course, LOL.

I would opt for one of the repair services. Good luck.
