Has anyone gotten the 7290 to work with a tomtom GO 700 GPS via bluetooth?? The tomtom recognizes the 7290 as a handsfree device, but will not connect to the internet. I've just updated my 7290 to OS 4.1 if that makes a differences.

vannguyen0: I can pair myu 7290 and it is recognised as a handsfree device but although I understand it is common you can not use the plus services many can use the handsfree calling.

Can you? because I can get no audio when I 'pick up' the phone via tomtom device. I do hear sounds when it connects and disconnects even the ringing but no audio is transferred.

My 7290 and TomTom GO510 connected easily and work just fine for handsfree calling. I was also able to download the phone list without difficulty (no plus services but I don't want them at this time). However, I have one 'issue' which is driving me crazy.

Every time I turn the GPS on, my BB asks for the pin code. If I don't enter it, I get no connection. The GO510 is set as a trusted device. I have tried deleting and reinstating the bluetooth pairing in several different ways, always with the same result. Any suggestions?
