    hey im trying to help out a friend.. he has a 7510.. the backlight on it is really low.. is that normal? i have a 7250 and my backlight is almost 100 times brighter than his.. is it something in the preferences or what?.. any help is appreciated

    Yes, the backlit and screen for that matter on the 7280/7230 and 7510 were first generation colour for BlackBerry and average by todays standard.

    well he cant really it was givien to him by his company.. so he's preety much stuck with it until the company decides to upgrade and they prob wont.. unless he lets it get run over by a car

    hey i have verizon.. i love them.. honestly i've never had any problems with them and its freaking amazing the places i have coverage.. my only complaint.. i wish verizon had the 8700g series.. i have the 7250 and i like it alot.. vzw just got the 7130e.. i really dont like that suretype crap... doesnt it seem like the companies with the crappy service get the facny phones to attract people and the good companies have the ehh phones.. wtf man ..

    yeah i feel ya i would just pass out if i was lucky enough for nextel to come out with 8700 series...not holding my breath though...

    hey bruiser,, i been searching the web to see if i found anything and i see theres a rumor on engadget that verizon is gonna realease an EV-DO 8700.. but not till next year.. rumor says.. here's another site http://www.rimarkable.com/archives/750.. what this guy says i belive is true .. when and if verison put out the 8700 the sales will soar...

    I agree the lighting on the 7510 is terrible. Is there really a light? I can see it the same when you turn it on as when it is off! One day a customer gave me a free BB 7520, perks of my job, and I gave it to my boss who was using a 7510.
