    wont sncyh calendar

Here's what I have so far
Sychronize now - all items checked
Currently have Configuration settings set for Address Book, Calendar, Memo and Tasks set to synchonize.
Address book does sychronize when I remove Calendar

In calendar have "all scheduled items" to sychronize.
Had this set to "notify me deletions and changes"
    Changed to "MS Outlook wins"
    Changed to " ignore conflicts"
Result was the same when processing handheld at 16 of 56 it stalls.

IN the log this comment appears
    Internal Error #4088.
    Translation Canceled!

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My bet is that the .pst file is corrupt (outlook's file for storing your email, etc)... that's why it gets part-way before crashing out.

    Two options:
    1) Find and run scanpst.exe on your .pst file
    2) Create a new mail profile and start from scratch (normally more successful)

look here for more info on scanpst: http://www.slipstick.com/problems/scanpst.htm

To fix corrupted PST files, you can use the Inbox Repair Tool. However, the tool isn’t always able to repair every PST file. It works by repairing the PST file’s header and then deleting anything in the file that it doesn’t understand. So if a PST file’s header is damaged, as may be the case for corruption that occurs during a version upgrade, the tool should have no trouble making the repair. But if the data within the file is corrupt, the Inbox Repair Tool will likely destroy what’s left of the file. That's why it's always good to make a backup of the PST file before running the Inbox Repair Tool.

Location of .pst File - You will need to know the location of the .pst file that you want to repair. If you are not connecting to Microsoft Exchange Server, all your Microsoft Outlook data is stored in one or more Personal Folders (.pst) files. In Outlook 97 and Outlook 98 or Outlook 2000 in Corporate/Workgroup mode, check the properties for Personal Folders in Tools | Services (or Tools | Account Settings) to determine the exact location on your system.
In Outlook 98 or Outlook 2000 in Internet Mail Only mode, right-click on Outlook Today or the top level of any other set of folders and then choose Properties.

Run Scanpst.exe - it performs a number of tests. If it finds errors, it asks whether you want to make a backup copy of the original file, then tries to correct the errors.

For seriously corrupted PST files, try running Scandisk.exe (look under Programs | Accessories | System Tools) first, then Scanpst.exe, repeating 3-4 times until neither program returns an error. We've know this technique to restore data that the user though was lost forever.

If the file is on an NTFS volume, you can't use Scandisk.exe so easily. One approach, for Windows 2000, is to open the drive in My Computer and use the Tools menu commands to scan the disk. You may need to restart Windows for the scan to run.

In case of seriously corrupted PST file you may try Stellar Phoenix outlook pst repair Software - a powerful tool which scans, repairs and restores corrupted PST. Effective to use and safe for PST repair, the software supports all Outlook versions and helps at each stage of corruption for PST recovery. Just specify the file path & click to PST repair & get the corruption free PST.

    For Information Only.......

The new version of the PST repair Software has already been released and is equipped with excellent features like compatibility with windows7, count of all items in individual folder, no need to rescan the file in full version and most exciting is 100% preview of all recoverable items which help you to evaluate the software and make better decision about how helpful will it be for you?
