Every time I go to synch calendar, it stalls out after 16 of 56 entries(but nothing is posted )
Wiped out the calendar and tried to synch 1 or 2 entries but still no luck.
reinstalled desktop manager.
Using BB 3.8 not on a BES.

My kids are going to start calling me stranger if I miss another bball game.
I would appreciate any suggestions.

Make sure you have the right profile selected in the intellisync manager. Please posts the steps you've done so far so that we can identify the prob.

Here's what I have so far
Sychronize now - all items checked
Currently have Configuration settings set for Address Book, Calendar, Memo and Tasks set to synchonize.
Address book does sychronize when I remove Calendar

In calendar have "all scheduled items" to sychronize.
Had this set to "notify me deletions and changes"
Changed to "MS Outlook wins"
Changed to " ignore conflicts"
Result was the same when processing handheld at 16 of 56 it stalls.

IN the log this comment appears
Internal Error #4088.

My bet is that the .pst file is corrupt (outlook's file for storing your email, etc)... that's why it gets part-way before crashing out.

Two options:
1) Find and run scanpst.exe on your .pst file
2) Create a new mail profile and start from scratch (normally more successful)

To repair your corrupt pst file you can try using Repair PST Software.

If the file is on an NTFS volume, you can't use Scandisk.exe so easily. One approach, for Windows 2000, is to open the drive in My Computer and use the Tools menu commands to scan the disk. You may need to restart Windows for the scan to run.
