    7290 Help

my cousin is having problems this is some info about his phone
T Mobile 7290 unlocked running on ATT network
    os 4.1.0.309

    Couple problems:
organizing call logs (dont know what it is but it lags for up to an hour)
reception starts cutting out at random times ***EDIT EDIT::it searches for a while then says no service in an area that has full reception***
also if we dl ATT's latest OS for it, will it have the original ATT features or no?

we know its the oldest model but any help is appreciative

I would suggest downloading the new OS and see it that solves any of the issues. The new OS could have some bug fixes that are needed.

If that fails to fix the issues then perhaps a wipe of the device is the next step.

It sounds to me that the reception issue could be a bad radio in the device, which means a hardware failure.

I would try the new OS, then a wipe, then if the issues continue a call to your carriers BB Support.

Remember to back up before doing the above.

ive learned that a back up is the the most key thing when it comes down to doing anything with these phones,
i have tried the new OS and still the problems existed
my cousin had to leave so i didnt get the chance to work with it some more
im just gunna tell him to upgrade!!! lol
