Using MacBook as a wireless router

    Hey Folks,

I'm here in Canada sharing my hard-wired internet connection (via Ethernet) over wifi with a MacBook and a 8320. My BB recognizes the network, but always fails to connect (W002: Wi-Fi Connection Failed). Is there a crucial step I'm missing to make this work?

Would be great to make those free VOIP calls to the states, but there's no WiFi at this hotel so I was hoping to use a WiFi network that I create with my laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just a wild guess - and Windows terms, but is your MacBook set up in Ad Hoc mode, or Infrastructure? I'm GUESSING that the BlackBerry can only use Infrastructure mode, and/or if it DID use Ad Hoc, that would only allow communication between it and your computer, but not necessarily between the BlackBerry and the network the computer is connected to.
