Parallels crashes on OS install and gives me the "grey death screen"

Anybody else having this issue. I'm running Parallels and trying to install a new OS (4.2.1.179)
    File name: 8100C_PBr4.2.1_rel179_PL2.3.0.85_A4.2.1.108_SingTe l.exe

(deleted the 'Vendor.xml' file file before install attempt)

It starts fine, does the blackberry back-up, but as soon as it tries to Connect to device ROM... the system crashes, the grey "death screen" slowly decsends and my Mac tell me to that I must hold down my power button and restart my computer.

I have downloaded different versions of the OS... same problem. I have also downloaded the latest version of Desktop Manager... same problem.

Now I have a half-baked blackberry that won't connect to the server!!

Any Advice? Has this happened to anybody else?

    Thanks in advance
