Missing memos after sync

Hi i am new to this sorry if this has been covered.
I recently synced my bb to my macbookpro and everything seemed to go well.
But when i look at my memos they all seemed to be gone.
But when i look at number of entries it still shows the 19 i had in there.
I was wondering if this has happened to anyone, and if there is a way to make them viewable or fix this.
Any help would be appreciated.

infinitekris, Welcome to PinStack.

Try removing the Battery for about 15 - 30 Seconds and then checking. If this doesn't work, we will need to know what BB device you are using and the OS on that device.

Blackberry 8700g V4.1.0.284 platform 2.0.0.120 i tried the battery thing a few times and still same problem.

Well let me ask you this kris, did you sync these memos before and by accident delete them from your macbook pro because that is one way for memos to disappear if sync once before and deleted when you sync it again it will ask you if you would like to delete the existing entries from your device.

no i didnt cause i only synced once to get the all my blackberry on the macbook pro. i havent done anything since thinking i may lose other stuff or might become invisible.

Well Kris, your issue has me a little curious because i did the same thing syncing my bb with my mac but the thonly thing was my memos weren't on my bb they were on my mac in the form of stickies. That is where pocketmac bb looks for memos. Everything was find because it copied everything that was in my addressbook and ical and stickies to my bb. Do you remember seeing any sort of questions it might of asked you during the syncing process?

I don't know anything about pocket mac, but in desktop manager Intellisync, there is a setting for how to sync each of your PIM Functions. The options are Import, Export and Sync. If you had this feature set to the wrong thing it might have forced a clear on the Handheld and downloaded only what was on the MAC. Unless you want to do only one way transfer, always use sync.

Kris, do you sync with Entourage for your memos? That is the only way PocktMac is able to do the job as iCal handles tasks & calendar events, and Address Book handles your contacts. Let me know as I think I can help you.

I am using the latest version of pocketmac. i dont have entourage installed. everything from my BB went on to my macbookpro which is what i wanted cause all my info is on the bb and my pc. i didnt have anything on stickies that would have overridden my memos. the thing is the memos are in the blackberry just not visible but occupying space.
