    MACBOOK PRO is froze

    My MBP is froze.... the swirling pinwheel ..... tried different solutions... like reboot ... safe mode..... but then when restart it is back the same.

    Had a new hard drive put in only a few weeks ago.....

    Help....

    I Googled the problem and that came up. Also on a Mac site someone suggested literally pulling the battery out for 30 or so seconds and letting it hard reboot. You're going to have to find the culprit though, or it will most likely do it again.

    Hope that doesn't happen to mine.....I can't remove the battery :-(

    I don't know. Not very versed on the workings of a MacBook. That's one of the solutions I saw on a Mac forum. Apparently, some have access to the battery compartment and some don't. Sorry I can't be of more help.
