Question HELP! used DM for Mac - now NO POWER?!

I downloaded Desktop Manager for Mac and wanted to try it with my Pearl. The install went fine. I connected my Pearl via USB and it said there were several updates available for it (everything from Password Keeper to Brickbreaker) so I figured I would install them first before trying to sync it for the first time with DM.

It was taking awhile to update but I didn't think anything of it since there were over half a dozen updates. Finally I got the message that it FAILED to update.

My Pearl then started to have LED blink - 2 quick blinks pause 2 quick blinks - not like when you have a voice mail waiting.

I removed it - tried to reconnect - and it's not being recognized.

I have NO power. I've tried a battery pull, connecting to the charger - no success.

Putting the battery back in it just starts to blink again.

HELP! Any thoughts or ideas??? Thanks!
