Connection issue with Curve and Mac

    Hi All,

I have an 8300 on AT&T. Everything has been fine with the phone for the past 8 months. (Sync with Pocketmac). As of yesterday with I plug the BB into the usb slot it shows the little charging icon but only for a second, then it goes away. The BB will not charge via USB or allow me to sync with Pocketmac, b/c it's not showing up. What could have changed over night to disallow this?

    Thanks!

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~what mac OS are you running. Tiger did that with me. I reinstalled Pocketmac and it worked again. Also, before you uninstall, (not to be obvious) try a different USB.

I am running Leopard. I tried other USB ports with no difference. I will reinstall and go from there.

    Thanks!

Which USB port are you using? Which Model Mac are you using?
If it's one on the keyboard try using one that is not on the keyboard.

I am on a Macbook Pro. I have tried both USB port and a USB hub.

Do you sleep your Mac or shut it down at night?

I had the same issue on m MBP but only with 1 USB port. I switched to the port on the right side of the notebook and it seems to work just fine. I tried to find out more about it and never really found a solution other than others were also having the same issues. I upgraded from 10.5.1 to 10.5.2 and thus far is been working ok. Not sure if that will help or not but I was having the same problems.
