    Question Can't view email attachments

    I've had my 8830 for a little over a month and all of a sudden I can't view email attachments. I know I could before. I'm not sure when it stopped. I've looked in my options folder on the BB and it says I have the BlackBerry Attachment Viewer. Since I'm on a Mac, I can't go to Desktop Manager. I don't know what to do. Can you help?

    sorry you are having problems. What happens when you try to view the attachment? do you get an error message?

    There used to be an option to open attachment and there isn't now. I'm trying to view a JPG.

    Go into options and advanced options then host routing table. hit menu and register now. Then log into you BIS email account and resend your service books. This should take care of it.

    Just a side note also...if you don't have it yet, go to http://www.beamberry.com and download that piece of free software which is excellent for viewing PDF, PPT, XLS, and other attachments.

    Log into your BIS email account from your carriers website and sesend your service books.

    The Attachment feature could have been remove during a sync. Open up your Desktop Manager on Windows (if you have that option) then go to Add or Remove Program, "Blackberry Attachment" is a checkbox. If you can't do that or that doesn't solve your problem, you will probably need to reinstall your OS.

    I'm not sure what happened. I pulled the battery and now I can view attachments. Thanks for the assistance.
