Verizon Curve Battery
What is the maH of the battery that comes with the Verizon Curve? I see the standard battery is supposed to be 1000maH, but the Verizon website says it's battery is 1150 maH.
Well I got ripped off! If the battery # of the RIM battery is:BAT-06860-004, then it is a 1000maH. That's what came standard w/my Verizon Curve.
My box even says 1150....that's it I getting a new battery! FREE...

Now you can see my confusion..here's whats at Verizons website..
Your Price $39.99 Have an extra battery ready if your charger isn't handy or if your battery is drained. This battery is 1150 mAh. Actual usage time will vary based on user settings, feature use and network.
And here is what's on Alltel's site
Product Name BlackBerry C-S2 Standard Li-Ion Battery Brand BlackBerry Manufacturer's Part Number BAT-06860-003 Size Standard Battery Technology 1 x Lithium Ion battery Talk Time up to 240 minutes Standby Time up to 380 hours Milliampere Hours 1000 mAh Color Black Service / Support 1 year warranty
I am on the phone w/RIM Customer Care right now...I talked w/ local VZW dealer that I purchased my Curve from...They are awesome, by the way...They all took the batteries out of their Curves and confirmed that they also had 1000mAh batteries as well. I will keep you posted of RIM's reply. Thx for pointing this detail out...many of us might have missed it.
Update:RIM confirmed one thing, that the C-S2 battery is the standard one shipped w/the 8330. I know this does not help...They did not know the battery's specs. Any RIM techs out there? I say, according to all presented info, that the battery shipped w/the 8330 is only an 1000mAh battery. The device is advertised, standard, to come w/an 1150mAh battery...as stated on web & box. Anyone who finds out different, please post the when, where, and how's. Thx!
