Otterbox Issue

I just received my otterbox 1936 for Pearl 8120.
Great case, not certain if I am a fan of the membrane yet.

1 issue I have with it, and was curious if others have had this issue:

The magnet will not place the phone into sleep mode, though they claim it will.

Anyone have some experience with this case?

Are you putting it in the case backwards?

Nope, its in the correct way, screen facing inwards. Nice and snug.
Amusingly, the sleep works when I reverse it, the wrong way, but the phone is not secure into the holster this way.

Defective holster?

Must be, I contacted Otterbox, they will ship me a replacement holster.
All in all, excellent service and case.
