    Naviation?

I have the BtGPS (sirfIII) receiver and can track my location, which is cool. But, I want to take it a step further with point by point (ex. Tom Tom) navigation. Is the BB capable of achieving such a feat? If so, what do I need to download, hopefully free or trial, and/or purchase?

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated my BB bretheren

You can get TeleNav with a 30 day trial. www.telenav.com

I have used it and like it.

    busaberry, Welcome to PinStack.

Telenav is a good option, but I believe BlackBerry Map will also do this. It is available from http://www.blackberry.com/maps.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

This sucks. Unless you wanna pay the big bucks the the BIS then all this stuff is useless.

I got a 7250. WHAT can I use for navigation????? This is starting to irritate me.

Am I stuck with getting a tomtom ???

BlackBerry Maps does free point-to-point navigation. I'm not sure what else you want it to do.

    Just to avoid irritation:

there is NO offline navigation software available for blackberry.

all navigation solutions are based on maps which are downloaded from the internet during navigation.

I recommend TeleNav. you might want to check Wayfinder, too
Both off them must be bought.
Free services with GPS support are Google Maps and Nav4All

In both cases you have to pay for the traffic which is needed to download the navigation data.
