Re: MicroSD Max size

hello, this is my first time here, i agree with scbrown I just updated my desktop manager and my handheld manager and now i am using my 2 gig micro and works just fine. but when you install these go to options click on advance then click on media card, and it the bottom it will say cannot use media card i dont remember exactly what is says but you will get my point when you see it any way after that where it says media card support click on off then turn it back on then you should have access to all of the memory.

I have a San Disk 2gb micro card in my Pearl and it works just fine. I heard that the off-brands need formatting or are just plain trouble but not the San Disk.

I have a PNY 2gb micro (non-SanDisk); it seems to work fine. No problems so far. I've only had it for 3 weeks.

4 mb won't work, the file format is FAT32 and Pearl is FAT16 I think.

Re: MicroSD Max size

Does anyone have any idea when you'll be able to use a 4 gig micro sd card. It would be awsome to be able to use the Pearl instead of carrying around my ipod as well at least for day to day purposes.

Re: MicroSD Max size

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ nice to know that a 4gb card will work now. I am already using a 2gb and i am waiting for the Curve to come out, so I think I will wait on buying a 4gig to see what the Curve will handle. Thanx though Reddog

Re: MicroSD Max size

I've been using a Scandisk 2GB since I got the phone in May and I have not had any problems with it. Fortunately, I have not had any of the phone problems many report with their phone.

Re: MicroSD Max size

Hmm, 4GB working. Has anyone tested this with .103 release? Assume it would. Hmm according to Sandisk it is supported.
