Good alternative to the standard ear buds for 8310?

So, I finally got the 8310 that Ive wanted forever and got these horrible ear buds that came with the phone. The phone calls sound fine but music sounds way too high pitched with little bass. And, theres that stupid cord!

I guess I should be grateful to get ear buds with my phone, but are there any good affordable alternatives to them?

    Thanks!

I am using my iPod headphones and they are much better than the stock headphones. I also bought some from www.eshopunlimited.com but their website has been taken down so I can't find it right now.

I bought a pair of Blackberry brand soft ear gels from eshop, and they were good, much more comfortable than the ones that came with my 8300. Then I saw some gels on ebay-Phillips turbo bass gels for $15 shipped, and they are GREAT. Best $15 I ever spent. Got my brother some to listen to his i pod with.

Sounds like some great choices, but can either of them be used to talk through like the ones that came with the phone?

I would grab the SmartTalk from Griffin... It is only $20 and allows you to use any pair of headphones you have and just adds the mic necessary to send and receive calls...

A while back I bought a pair of Shure headphones that cost about $100 so I wanted to find a way to get them working with my 8310 and this is the perfect solution as it converts them to the best headset ever!

(As for the Bass, have you tried playing around with the Bass Boost option in the media player?? That may help also)

Thanks for the tip. I bought the skull candy buds on sale for 10 bucks at FYE and found a 20% coupon for the smarttalk mic with free shipping for a grand total of 26 bucks! Great sound with a mic, thanks everyone!
