I want one of these. I wish someone would come out with a slew of varities. Different models, different GID colors (green, blue, etc...)

How do you know there's a second shipment out? I really want one.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ yay! Ok, so I just got my GID Blackberry skin from Verizon! I was very lucky, I bought the last one in stock. This skin doesn't suffer from the odor problem the 1st productions did (thank goodnes.)

Seriously, I think RIM should take a lesson from Verizon on how to create snug fitting silicone skins. This case fits so perfectly and doesn't stretch out and lose it's shape. I like the fact that the side control buttons and volume keys are actually covered, rather than a cut-out of sorts. Only thing I miss is the Blackberry logo sprawled on the back.

Anyway, good luck finding this case guys it's really worth it!

That's awesome! How much did you get it for? I got a hook up at verizon (even though I'm sprint ) maybe she could set one aside for me.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ the total was around 14 bucks. Not too bad...about the same price as a regular bb skin. I would ask your friend asap. They're are pretty hard to come by, at least in the los angeles area.

How much are they running for? I was going to buy my first skin at the Sprint store until I saw they were 30 fricken dollars!! So I went to BestBuy and got one for under $15.. these look really cool but dread to hear how much they cost.

30 bucks for a plain old silicone case? Sheesh...tough times! The GID case is actually a dollar or so less than your best buy case

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ qood question...if Verizon is smart and takes note of the popularity of the GID skin, they'll continue the sales.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I ordered one over the phone.

I decided to call up VZ and inquire about it. I went to their website, clicked Contact Us, gave them my zip code.. and called the number. I talked to some guy named Jose who checked it out for me. He says the Northeast and West coast don't have any in stock, but to try the sales departments for the South and Midwest. Being from the South (kind of), I decided to try that one out.

So, I proceeded to talk to some chick named Debbie with a thick southern accent. When she first heard my weird hybrid quick speaking Northeast-South Baltimore accent she tried to claim that since I wasn't from the South, I couldn't order one. I tried to explain that Maryland technically is in the South since it's below the Mason-Dixon line. Then, she claimed that since I wasn't a VZ customer, I couldn't order one. (I think she just didn't like my city boy accent).

I got connected to Jason from the Midwest. He did everything really quick for me and I got my e-mail confirmation a few minutes after I hung up.

I got it yesterday. It has a faint scent, kind of like wasabi... not too terrible really. Also loses it's glow fairly quickly.
