No - Don't want to change the size of my BB, plus it will not fit in the case I have. I will buy a second regular battery and even a stand alone charger before I consider this.

Yes I would buy high capacity battery/door kit (if I had an 8700c LOL). There are cases now being built to accomodate the extra size. In fact, I just bought one for my 7105t and got 4 full days out of it rather than 2 with my regular batteries.

It's a done deal for me! Mine arrived last Friday and it took me about two seconds to install and get plugged in for a bit of juice. I no longer worry about sufficient fuel for a day's work and a night's play.

OABTW, the leather holster I bought with my 8700c has the stretchy sides that accommodated the slightly thicker (beefier feeling now! ) BB. I don't mind the slightly larger size a bit. I find it easier to hang onto.

John, I have had one on pre-order for a couple weeks or so with SPD ( great company by the way) and RIM keeps pushing back the date. Right now I think its still scheduled for sometime this month, but I don't think its definitive at this point.

If my Fortee case had space in the trunk for some extra junk then i might consider it. But since it is a tight fit i would have to go with the extra std battery instead.
