Hi everyone. I just wanted to let all stackers know that SmartPhone Depot has about 25 extended or high capacity battery/door kits for BlackBerry 8700 C and R models (C kits are on a constant 5 day backorder...order now if you want one). They also have kits for BB 7100t (which fits the 7105t. I just ordered one. I found out about the 8700C and R kits last night), 7100i (Nextel); 7250 (Sprint and Verizon); 7290 (Cingular and T-Mobile); 6510, 7510, and 7520 (all Nextel); and regular doors for just about every model except the 7100 series (they even have battery doors for the 850/950 BB's LOL I should have gotten one but it's black and my 950 is blue). Unfortunately, there are no 8700 G kits yet.

The 25 number was for the R kits... The kits for the C are fully in-stock. The G series kits will be here shortly.

Quick question. I have a 7100i. I need 2 charge it EVERYDAY. Sometimes in the middle of the day im at 68% is my usage to much for this unit?

Depends on how much you use it. If you are doing a lot of email and phone use during your day, then I would guess it is normal. Sometimes mine is down to less than 50% by 2PM. If you have it holstered (sleeping) 90% of the day and don't do much, and it STILL gets down that low, then there is something wrong.

Yes it depends on your usage. Before I got my extended battery, I was only getting 2 days out of it with heavy messaging. I am now getting 4 days with my new extended battery.

The 7100i - as all Nextel phones tend to be much more battery hungry because of network utilization. You can't compare other BB units to the Nextel counterparts... having said that we sell about 50-100 ext batts for the Nextel BB every month.

I tried to reach them by phone and email to ask why they would do that but no one ever answers the phone there (ask oyster rsx about that) and no response to my email. Some times a site can make an honest mistake but the fact the images are watermarked "SmartPhoneDepot.com" is almost funny.

If you need accessories I'm sure I can recommend someone ;-)

THANKS for the info, I have looked at roughly 8 of my 'standard' vendors sites for an extended battery/door for a 7100g with no luck! I'll check out SmartPhoneDepot...
