Thumbs up BB7520, Parrot CK3100 WORKS GREAT

I installed a CK3100 in my "06" Chevy Avalanche today using a Cellsite GMC SS-2 harness and a PARROT-1 Adapter. My findings:

    System works GREAT!
    Onstar still works GREAT
    Install was fairly easy!
Cables were all plug and play. Cost for Parrot CK3100, and Harnesses ran about $215. Great investment.
Using IPAQ 5555 with Bluetooth to transfer Contacts to the Parrot.

Radio mutes when phone rings or you call out and comes back as soon as you hang up.

    Regards,

    Dan

Cool! I think the car dealership only charged me about $2000 for the package that does that. LOL.

This is good news, I am too scared to try to install one of these in my car. Does anyone do mobile installations ??

It was rather easy to install. If you can pull cover off you dash without breaking it to remove your radio you should be ablew to install the kit. Everything was plug in except 2 wire connections and they were VERY SIMPLE

Do you think it would be an easy install for an aftermarket headunit? Or should I just put my stock radio back in for this?

As long as you have not changed the connectors on the back of the radio you should be fine.

    NCIcellular.com

That is where I bought the harness and the car kit

Re: BB7520, Parrot CK3100 WORKS GREAT

I was wondering for anyone out there who is using the Parrot CK3100 car kit if you are randomly losing your phone tags. In researching this issue on the Parrot Forum page it appears that an increasingly number of people are experienceing this issue with the CK3100. I have this kit and I installed in in my 2004 Silverado truck, have 4.13C software and upgraded my 7100G to 4.1 software and everything works great with the exception of I'm randomly losing my phone tags. The Keywords always stay though.

    Any ideas?

    thanks
    daryl
