Question Unable to write or update application data

I get this error message when I attempt to synchronize with Outlook: "Unable to write or update application data". This used to work before I upgraded to Desktop Software 4.2 and handheld 4.10.309. I have tried reinstalling the software, deleting the Documents and Settings Research in motion folder, resetting the handheld by removing the battery, all to no avail.

The error occurs after Contacts start to process. The log has:
Records Added or Changed - Conflicting: 1
Records Added - Not Conflicting: 13
Records Changed - Not Conflicting: 0
    Records Deleted: 0
    Records Unchanged: 345

    Do a hard reset

To everyone. The thing that worked for me was doing a hard reset on the BB. Instructions on how to do this are available in http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/searc...200%2031756028
