I really don't believe that you can sync with the Palm Desktop.

I believe the Palm Desktop is proprietary interface created by Palm. Sorry!

I was told by a RIMM rep yesterday this was possible. He was going to step me through it but I didn't have the USB cable. I'm trying to call now.

Let me know how to do it if you can get it working. I feel the same way about outlook and still have my Palm desktop loaded on my comp.

Any news about this being possible? (Personally, I doubt it.)

    Sync with Palm Desktop?

Hi there, I've been a Palm Desktop user for about a decade and using a Treo for the past three years. I am considering a BB Curve as I don't want to switch mobile carriers and they only carry BB now.

I fear change and I like the idea of being able to continue using my Palm Desktop software to manage content. I do NOT want to sync to Outlook because I want to keep work (Outlook) separate from my personal (Palm data)

Are you happy with the Companionlink? Is it as simple as installing the software and going about your business with the Palm Desktop? Also, which did you purchase Express or the Pro? I think the Express would work for me. I just want to make sure it's worth the money or if I should try to make a go of syncing to Yahoo calendar or Gmail calendar.

    Thanks for your guidance!

At this point, I'd probably sync with Google Calender. I hear that works pretty good and then you're personal contacts would be available online should you ever need them. Seems like a better option at this point.

I hope everyone knows at least that you can import from Palm Desktop into your BB using the Blackberry software and connecting the phone.

It asks you if you want to import, and from where: Palm. Done. You don't need to have any palm devices attached. Just your blackberry.

Also perhaps you could use outlook as an intermediary sync? I think there are softwares outhere that would sync palm and outlook. And from outlook you sync to your Blackberry?

email me if you figure it out.

private notes on palm, how to keep pvt on Blackberry?

My palm contains both business and private data(marked as such). Any suggestions how to have a 'private' feature to my BB.

    Thxs all !!!!
