    Still getting network@etp1102.etp.na.blackberry.net messages

I know this has been posted, but I haven't found an answer yet. I'm getting the message that everyone is getting:

This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server.

It started when I attached one of my users' blackberry to my PC to back it up before i ran an activation. We use a BES so I don't want forwarding.

I performed the suggested tasks of reinstalling the desktop software and choosing BES, and to use the BES to forward emails instead of the desktop redirector but I'm still getting messages. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

Wipe the device and re-provision. You also might want to verify that the user doesn't have it setup on his desktop incorrectly.

Tried Enterprise activation first without wiping it. Other than Call records, will he lose anything by wiping and reactivating?

    Hi,

Could you explain again what exactly you're trying to do?

Is this a new phone that you're activating?

What message are you getting on the handheld? What version of BES, steps to provision, etc.

If you are on a bes you shouldn't lose anything except maybe email messages if Message Prepopulation is not turned on on the BES.

THanks for all your help. WOrked with a RIM rep and we were forced to wipe the blackberry, uninstall the desktop manager and start all over again.
