Hmmm...I'm confused. I thought this was already released. Is this what you're looking for?

Or are you looking for additional functionality?

It was my understanding that RIM would be releasing a RIM branded version that would include the App Loader for Mac. I have PocketMac now (Paid for it a year ago) and it works great. Just looking for the update.

    Hello.
I am NEW to Blackberry; just bought the new Pearl (I have used Palm's Treo for many years). I use a Mac for all Palm-related syncs. Could you tell me if there's a Mac desktop? Also, could you explain what RIM PocketMac actually does?

    There is no Mac Desktop.

Basically what PocketMac does is synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes with one of the following:

    - Apple's Address Book, iCal, and Stickies
    - MS Entourage
    - NowUptoDate
    - Daylite something (i forget the name of the app)

I've downloaded the new version PocketMac, and synced, however it seem slike half the time the program quits out on me or the 8100 shuts off. Anyone else having this problem with their 8100 and PocketMac?

I do like the new user interface on PocketMac - much better than the previous version.
