    Question Probs with RIM messages being quarantined

    Hi all... hope someone can help!

    I'm using the desktop redirector to send my work emails to my 7130, the redirect works fine and I receive my work emails as normal, however, because the redirector sends a RIM message that has a DAT file attached the RIM message gets quarantined by my works firewall or email settings and then I get inundated with quarantine mails!
    Is there any way I can stop the RIM message being sent as I still receive the original email anyway??
    Hope this makes sense!

    Is this a company phone on a BES, or are you using redirector on a BIS account?

    I don't think Redirector is really meant to run with BIS. I'm just not that familar with redirector problems.

    I have the same setup as you do (BIS w/ redirector ontop of Exchange) and I don't have this issue. Try adding the RIM email address to your address book at work. That might prevent it from being snagged by the filter. If that doesn't work then just talk to your email admin and explain the situation. It's just a matter of them white listing the RIM domain. that sends that message. Hope that helps!
