    Question Problems backing up device

When I try and back up my BB 8310 it starts backup okay but then seems to lock up on "Content Store" and I get error backing up database. FIrst it locked up on "Browser Bookmarks" but after going into advanced and deleting bookmarks it now goes past this item......Wait, now I can't even get it past MMS messages. Currently running DTM 4.6 and OS 4.5.0.55. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When was your last good back up?

It sounds like something is corrupt. You may want to restore to a previous backup. If it continues you may want to wipe and reinstall the OS.

Last backup was 08/15. Will try and reload and see if it corrects itself. Thanks.

    To Berryaddict

Sorry I couldn't reply to your private message (I haven't posted enough yet). There is probably an easier way, but this is how it worked for me. I was running OS 4.5.0.69 and I downgraded to 4.2 and then upgraded back to 4.5.0.55. In the process it created a backup file. After the upgrade everything appeared to be fine except my addresses and calender entries were missing. Maybe I got in a hurry and missed something. I then went to make another back up through the advanced options and noticed there were files under the address book and calender and after backup all my entries were returned. I know this is long winded, but hopefully it helps. Good luck.
