    Need Desktop Manager download link!!!

Okay well I bought my Curve a little over a month ago and left my hometown (Springfield, M0) the next day for California on a work trip. Well I bought a new laptop and I do not have the DM disk tmobile gave me with me and I need it on my new computer. I have not upgraded my OS. I think I'm running 4.2 .171 or whatever please post a link for me.

Also if anyone knows the link to setting up the 8320 as a modem for laptops that would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks in advance,
    Sheldon

And here is the one for TMO

Im attempting to download 4.2sp2 DM from RIM right now.

I really just need DM so I can use my curve as a modem for my Laptop...I'm on the road a lot and sometimes hotels I stay in don't have free wifi which can be irritating.

If 4.2sp2 DM download doesn't work Idk what I'm going to do...I guess wait till I get home (around 4th of July) and just use my disk

Well I need to specify I DO NOT have an existing version of DM on my computer. I need the New Installation link...NOT an upgrade link.

Perhaps you could find a local T-Mobile store that will help you out or call customer care at T-Mobile they always help.

Yea maybe they'd be willing to just give me the disk from another box...not a bad idea, ill try that. If that fails I'll just have someone at home overnight me the disk.

    Thanks everyone!

/thread unless someone has a useful link.

If you have bluetooth you don't need DM. I use mine all the time without it installed.

So I went to a T-mobile and they gave me a disk from a pearl box that had been opened...the disk DOESNT EVEN WORK! Something has to be wrong with this laptop or something. I just bought it. Its a Vaio FZ series running Vista Premium...I have no idea.

JonesJJ - I don't have bluetooth but maybe I'll buy an adapter...Can I not use it as a modem tethered without DM???? Also I'm using Vista so could you find a setup for using it on vista???

Thanks everyone...I really don't understand why the disk doesnt work?!

Okay so I just popped in my Dad's Blackberry disk from his 8830 WE From Sprint and the disk works!!!! But it says sprint in the menu? Should I use this or should I not? Does it even matter who the carrier is for DM?
