    Daniel,

Can you go back and add the screen shot image you attempted to post as an attachment, ( use the go Advanced button and at the bottom of the entry there is an option for manage Attachments)

I don't have any idea what xplorer2 is but it seems you need exactly the same information you do in MyComputer/Windows Explorer. which are basically the same thing.

    Re: HELP! plz

Ok, Lets go through all this, and just in case I'm going to go through everything that is required.

You purchased a microSD media Card
You have properly installed it in your pearl and it is locked in place.
You have formated that card from the Blackberry Options/Media Card Menu.
    In Options/Media Card,
you have Media Card Support On
You have Encryption Mode set to None
You have Mass Storage Mode Support set to On
You have Auto Enable Mass Strorage Mode When Connected set to Yes

Now tell me, When you go to the media app, and open the menu and select explore, what do you see?

    Re: HELP! plz

    Ok...

    1. Highlight Media Card and mit Menu >Properties and post back the result.

    2. As you click on the media card folder you should get a screen that lists :Music, Pictures, Ringtones, Videos. (may have to go through 2 screens to get there) Please confirm this.

    Re: HELP! plz

Ok then all seems to be in order with your card (2gb, correct?) And the device is reading it. Here is what I would have you try:

    1. Activate your camera and then hit Menu>Options and make sure that Store Pictures is set to On Media Card. Now take some photos and explre the Media>Pictures>Media Card. If the photos show up then we know that the device is accessing the sd card.
    2. Lanuch DM and then connect your device. If you do not get the Removable Device wizzard then we may have a driver issue.
    3. If still no connection I would suggest you un-install desktop manager and reinstall. If you got it from a disk then downlaod and install DM 4.3 from this link: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22

During install please check the box to Launch DEVICE MANAGER at start up.

3.Connect your BB to your Desktop. At this point you should actually get the Connect Window for a removable disk. Select Open Folder to View Files. If this works you can now copy files to your sd card.
    4. Launch Desktop Manager Please confirm that DM sees the device (Connected)
    5. On your Desktop START>MY COMPUTER should also show the removeable drive (the sd card)

    Re: HELP! plz

I have followed all of the steps you posted above and cant seem to find most of the things mentioned such as the removable drive because when I go to my computer there is no mention of such things all I have in my computer is floppy drive CD-RW Drive and Local disk then a bunch of documents also I am not getting a removable device wizzard. DM is confirming that my device is connected and I have taken pictures and confirmed that my device is working with my media card I have also redownloaded DM twice. So all I think I have right now is an issue with my pc. is there a way to get more drives, because I have noticed on my bros. pc he has many removable drive things?

    ~thx Daniel

    Re: HELP! plz

I had the same problem, but I am also running Vista Premium. I think this should work for you. I discovered a similar issue with one of my memory sticks and drive letters that get assigned.

    Here is what I did.

1 - Go to control panel.

    2 - Administrative Tools.

    3 - Computer Management

4 - Storage option on right side of window.

    5 - Disk Management

6 - Now you should see your BB listed here and have a Disk letter assigned to it.

7- Then at the lower portion of the screen you will see "DISK 0" "DISK 1"....... "DISK 2"

8 - Right Click in the white area where it lists the disk capacity and say FAT etc etc.

9 - Then you will see a popup with the option "Change drive letters and path'"

10 - Select this option and in the next popup select the "Change.." button.

11 - You should see the "Assign the following drive letter: " and on the right side of that a drop downlist with drive letters. Select one that you know is not being used.

12 - You will be warned about some programs may rely on this letter... Make sure you are selecting the BB device and you will be fine, and select yes.

You should now be able to go to your windows explorer and see that drive and copy to it as others have mentions.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks JM and welcome to Pinstack!

Daniel, try this (above) and let us know if it helps. If you still have issues I want you to examine the USB port on your phone. I had another stacker with a simlar issue discover a bent/missing pin on his USB port that we suspect may have been causing the problem.
