I'm at my wits end.... Can't seem to figure this out.

BB 9530 with the latest OS.
Any DM version, (currently running 4.2 sp2)
    Windows vista 32bit

    • tried deleting the intellisync folder
tried completely removing & reinstalling DM "as administrator" and setting the shortcut to run as admin
      tried wiping the device
tried deleting the databases off the device and re-syncing
turned off UAC before installation of DM

The device will sync part of the time and other times will crash.

    The following is the error.

Faulting application DesktopMgr.exe, version 4.2.2.14, time stamp 0x4630d383, faulting module olmapi32.dll, version 12.0.6315.5000, time stamp 0x4824a985, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0004f511, process id 0x9d0, application start time 0x01c95f0bd8a21147

Can't figure out what is causing the olmapi32.dll module to fail and not sure what to do to fix it. On another note it syncs fine on an XP machine.

    Please help!!

Are you running Outlook 2007 on the Vista machine? The olmapi32.dll I believe is pointing to the Outlook 2007 if so. Have you done a repair on your Office software to see if that would correct your issue?

It is Outlook 2007 with vista. I will attempt a repair on outlook to see if that helps. I guess I never thought it would be outlook's issue......

well repairing outlook seemed to help with 4.2.2. I synced multiple times with no error. I updated to v4.7 and cancelled the sync and then ended up getting the error. I will try to repair outlook again tomorrow and run the sync to see if that fixes anything again.
