    Question Device DB's Greyed out

I recently did a wipe on a users' BB 7290 after doing a backup using the Desktop Manager v4.1.0.8

I reactivated his device on our BES.

I was able to get his address book back onto his device, but just about every other db is greyed out. I've turned off wireless, tried resetting the device, nothing. Even something as small as his Browser bookmarks is greyed out.

    Ideas?

Were you upgrading the handheld OS?

Last time this happened I had to use a BlackBerry Database reader to help the restore process:

    Hope this helps

didn't upgrade the OS, just did a backup.

The utility you talked about seems to be good, but how would I then get it back onto the blackberry?

Like right now the user needs "Memos" transferred back, but it's greyed out on the device, like it's read-only....

turns out memo's has a wireless sync option, didn't know that, so I'll check through the others to see if they do and turn it off so I can restore them
