Desktop Manager software disables WLAN card

I have a Dell D830 laptop with a built-in wireless lan card. It worked great. But when I installed the Blackberry Desktop Manager software v4.6, the WLAN stopped working. It says "Dell WLAN card is disabled." The WiFi light is still on, but it doesn't work. Uninstalling the Blackberry software doesn't fix the problem. I have to run a system restore to get back my WLAN. Any ideas? Is it something with the v4.6? Should I be using a different version?

Try going down to the 4.5 dm, I had 4.6 for about 2 days and I felt it was worthless. Too many bugs, I couldn't upgrade my phone's os correctly and it would constantly freeze on me.

    Thank you. I'll try it.
