    Desktop Manager Problem again

    Ok, this has been a problem for me before. I managed to fix it, but now it is back. When I try to connect with Desktop Manager, it will not connect. So now I am unable to transfer music, pictures, etc to my phone. I uninstalled the Desktop Software and installed the v4.2 Service Pack 1.

    Here are some details:

    My OS is 4.2.0.71(cingular?)
    Im on T mobile
    I also want to update to .94
    Desktop Manager version is 4.2.1.8

    What do I have to update, uninstall, install, etc??

    First let's do some checkups.

    1. Uninstall that 4.2 Desktop Manager from your computer
    2. Is your OS SP2 for 4.2?
    3. You need T-Mobile - http://www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade (Go to this using your Desktop browser to download YOUR services Desktop Manager.
    4. Stay up to date with your BB Service by OTA (Over The Air) upgrades/updates by going to http://www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade using your device.

    OKay, I uninstalled the old Desktop Manager, installed the one you told me, and is working. Im able to connect. Im sure .71 works for 4.2.

    I have some questions.

    Is .94 from T mobile or Cingular?
    Should I update my OS or stay?(still .71)
    What OS would you recommend?
    The version of the handheld software and desktop manager could be whatever, so long as it is from the same service(T Mobile)?

    Check the site that I provided to you and check if you're running the correct version, this way you're in the knowing of where to go to check on your devices needs. Also upgrade to SP2 for your desktop if you're running windows xp. 4.2 requires SP2, but if it's running and connected, then you do have SP2

    What device are you using? reason why I am asking is because if you goto http://www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade/ (It will show you what version you have and the version may need to upgrade to if required)

    BlackBerry Desktop Manger 4.2 SP2 will work with any BlackBerry with any HH code.
