I think that one of the main changes from 4.6 to 4.7 is that the MediaSync is now compatible with Vista Premium 64Bit...I tried when it first came out and did not work now it does.

I have tried downloading DM 4.7 at least 10 times over the last three weeks and I keep getting a page load error when I get to the final page to download it (after all the fill in the blank nonsense). I have used Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Foxfire. It is the same with all of them. Any suggestions?

I've been running 4.7 for a while now without any problems until I was about to edit an mp3 and save it as a ringtone and that option was no longer available. I was able to edit songs before in DM. I already tried reinstalling it and even installed 4.5 without any success. Anybody know what the deal is with this? thks.

I dumped 4.7 this morning and went back to 4.6.

Got a new Curve and upgraded the OS yesterday. Went to remove the PTT .cod file as I normally do after an upgrade and could not do that with the 4.7 version.

Maybe someone can help me out, I am unable to install DM on my computer. Download is fine but when I get into the installation it stops and I get this error message.

The wizard as interrupted before BlackBerry Desktop Software could be completely installed.
Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again.

Running again gets me the same message , just faster. I searched on the computer and there is no other BB software on it. Any ideas?

Go into your Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs (Programs and Features on Vista) and make sure there is nothing that says BlackBerry Desktop Software 4.x.

Reboot your PC.

Try downloading the software again.

You were right. Even though I did a search for Blackberry somehow it didn't find an old version that was installed. I have the new version installing now.
