    Question Connector specific error

    Aaaah!!!

I was able to synchronise, got all my Yahoo/ Outlook contacts onto my device ok, but ended up with loads of duplicates. I then tidied them up and tried to synch again but just get 'Connector specific error' when it gets to the address book bit. Calendar synchronises ok.

I don't know where to start sorting ot out...

    I've got a Pearl 8110 and DTM v4.3

    Help!!!

Ok... I've been trying some of the fixes suggested but no luck. After deleting all calendar entries (didn't have many) I now get the error - unable to read application data...

    Now fixed :-)

A bit of patience and I got it resolved!! This is how I did it:

    Cause 5

Data on the BlackBerry smartphone has become corrupt.
    Resolution
    Remove the corrupt data.
    1. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer using the cradle or Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable.
    2. In the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, double-click Backup and Restore.
    3. Click Advanced.
    4. From the Handheld Databases list box, click the application database (for example, Calendar, Tasks) that you were configuring when the error message appeared.
    5. Click Clear.
    6. Click Close > Close.
