    cant install themes

    curve 8900, problems loading themes. downloaded a theme .jad, tried to install and extract but nothing happens wen i tried to install it with dm it unknown file comes up. any help?

    if you are installing via ota (over the air) has to be done usig your blackberry browser, to install it using a pc is a diff process
    When i say i have Bold family phones, I meant it, from the older to the younger, even the unborn ;)

    Ealvnv is right. To add to it .jad is the ota file. If you have a .jar file downloaded to your BB you can install with that. But .jad is strictly ota

    If it's unknown file then normally it
    Would be zip file, use computer for that.
    Like above look for "OTA DOWNLOAD"

    if you're installing via DM you need to download the alx files to your computer.also make sure the cod files are in the same location as the alx file.

    Just copy the download link of the .jad file you have,and email it to your BB. When you open the email on your phone,just click the link and it will bring you directly to the download. Very easy!
