    Calendar Question

I am in the market for client database software and I am trying to figure out how to sync my blackberry calendar with my computer... in any format... So that I can get new software that will read appointments recorded on my phone and vice versa.

I have no BES and no data plan at the moment--- I am trying to find a way to do this via USB.

There is no reason that this can't work- I just have to figure out how.

    Does anyone have any advice?

Edit: Is Outlook the way to go?
Edit2: Is there a freeware alternative to Outlook? As far as calendar functionality goes--- I use thunderbird for email.

I just don't want to buy outlook.

I have the entire office suite from 2003... and I guess outlook isn't a part of that bundle.

If you are a teacher or student or have a student in the family, you can buy the teacher student edition. Much Much cheaper...

    Re: Calendar Question

pfft... I have Microsoft Office. I'm not going to buy the whole thing again just to get Outlook.

And I don't really want Outlook badly enough to pay $60 for it or whatever it costs by itself.

It looks like the Desktop Manager has Sage ACT! compatibility.

Has anyone gone this route? ACT! looks like a great program. I haven't had the chance to use it yet, though.

I thought Outlook came with Office 2003. That's how I got mine?
