    Question Bluetooth sync help needed

I am using BB Desktop Manager version 4.2 and my computer is showing the Bluetooth icon in the system tray. I don't beleive it is 3rd party. I want to connect using bluetooth but in the desktop manager connections settings Bluetooth is greyed out. Everywhere there is something to do with bluetooth it is greyed out.

    Re: Bluetooth sync help needed

What type of computer (i'm assuming laptop) do you have? Brand, Vista pre-loaded (yes/no)

In my experience if Vista has come pre-loaded it will install the bluetooth driver plus an application to go with it to replace the original Windows BT application. I have had success in uninstalling any Bluetooth Application from the "Program and Features" option in the control panel and then updating the driving manually through device manager and specifying which driver to use.

I'd recommend reading RIM's knowledgebase article on BT sync.
