    Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.7

    Hey everyone, dont know if thsi has been posted already but it seems 4.7 Blackberry Desktop Manager is out and ready to download. here is the link if interested.

    I started up my cpu and it alerted me tha an upgrade was possible to 4.7

    It was released on 4/23 so it's a little newer version. Hopefully they worked out the kinks.

    I've been using it since it was posted beta and it seems to be better than the original release. I hope it is that way for everyone.

    I think the biggest change is that you DON'T have to delete previous OS. It will list all installed on your PC and you can chose which one you want. Also the fact it checks for updates based on your pin automatically. That's about as far as I have gotten.

    yep that's a new feature, and is available in DM 5.0 too
    When i say i have Bold family phones, I meant it, from the older to the younger, even the unborn ;)

    so i'm running 4.5.147 (east asia english version) on my 8310 ATT. The question is can I run 4.7 desktop on my os?

    yep you can....assuming you have the new version, if not i will and most of the people here will recommend 4.6

    You should be able to do it with no problem. The basics are still the same. Just make sure to always delete the vendor.xml whenever you install a new os and it will list it with the official and any other you have installed. The list will show wheter it is a local install and it will also show the official with perfered next to it. Anything below will be noted as downgrades and anything above will just show as installed to your PC. Make since?
